$5,850.00

This is a very cool rare 1970's Diver Chronograph in excellent original condition - so good that it comes very close to being New Old Stock. The uncommon name "Gigandet" on this watch gives homage to Charles Gigandet who was the owner of Wakmann Watch Company - the New York watch company who marketed the Breitling watches in the USA during the 1970's. The stunning original black tachometer dial bears the following markings: "Gigandet| INCABLOC | 20 ATM | T SWISS". The crown and pushers like everything else on the watch are original. The outside of the screw down stainless steel back reads: "20 ATU | INCABLOC | SWISS MADE | ALL STEEL | 314/10 | WATERPROOF". The inside of the case back reads: "WAKMANN WATCH CO | SWISS MADE". The Valjoux 7733 movement is marked: " SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS | UNADJUSTED". The movement also bears the correct markings to identify the movement as a Valjoux 7733 movement. Given the rarity of a Gigandet chronograph watch in this unusual pristine condition, this watch would stand out in any serious chronograph or diver watch collection.
