WB-002: 1960 - 1970's Wakmann Regata Automatic Day/Date Chronograph - Lemania 1341 Movement
This is a truly fabulous - all original and rare Wakmann Automatic Regata Chronograph with day & date function - all in very good to excellent condition. The Lemania 1341 movement is in pristine condition with all functions operating just as they should. This watch dates to the 1960's - 1970's. The original gold plating on the case top is in surprisingly good condition for a watch of this age. The snap on stainless steel back is also in very good condition. The inner dial rings include both a telemeter and tachometer dial as well as the day indicator dial. The markings on the original dial read: Wakmann | Automatic | 17 JEWELS | SHOCKPROOF | T SWISS MADE T". The stainless steel case back reads: "SWISS MADE | INCABLOC | STAINLESS STEEL | ANTIMAGNETIC". The inside of the case back reads: "WAKMANN WATCH CO. | SWISS | ACER |INOXYDABLE" along with the serial number 9804. The movement is marked: "WAKMANN WATCH CO | SWISS | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS" along with the appropriate markings to indicate the LEMANIA 1341 movement and the movement serial number "3470468".
