TU-061: 1950's Tudor Oyster Gold Capped Manual Wind Watch Ref 7934
Rare, beautiful & sexy Rolex Tudor Oyster manual wind watch dating to the early 1950's. This watch was recently serviced and is keeping excellent time. The gold capped case top and the stainless steel case back are in excellent shape. The original refinished dial has the 3 - 6 - 9 - 12 with intermittent arrows design found on so many of the Rolex watches of the same period. The screw down crown works perfectly and bears the Rolex crown. The back of the case displays the reference number "7934" and the serial number "230403". The back of the case is further marked with the Rolex crown and "ROLEX GENEVA ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE". The inside case back displays the following notations: "MONTRES TUDOR S.A. | GENEVA SWITZERLAND | PATENTED | CARRURE | LUNETTE | PLAQUE OR LAMINE | 20 MICRONS | SWISS K.B. MADE | FOND ACIER | INOXYADABLE | STAINLESS STEE BACK". The movement is marked: "TUDOR | 21 RUBIS". This is a highly collectable watch, in very good condition.
