This is a very handsome Silvana Swiss Star automatic diver watch in good original condition dating from the 1960's. The ETA 2472 powerhouse 25 jewel movement in this watch is running strong & keeping accurate time. The original dial with no touch-ups is marked with the Silvana logo under the 12:00 marker and with "SILVANA | SWISS | AUTOMATIC | 25 JEWELS". The back of the case is marked with: "SWISS STAR | 20 ATU | 10833 C | STAINLESS STEEL | AUTOMATIC | ANTIMAGNETIC | INCABLOC | SWISS MADE | WATERPROOF" and the reference number "10820". The inside of the case is marked with the serial number "2579900". The movement is marked: "25 JEWELS | SWISS MADE" in addition to the appropriate marks identifying this to be an ETA 2472 automatic movement. The original screw down crown is signed and screws down correctly. The rotating divers bezel works correctly & the watch keeps excellent time. This watch comes with a used rubber divers band.
