This is a beautiful c. 1986 Rolex 18k Gold Oyster Perpetual Day-Date "President" (Ref # 180788) Chronometer with the rare "Bark Finish" in excellent original condition. Comes with the original Rolex box and warranty certificate. The Rolex cal 3055 automatic movement is running strong & keeping accurate time. The stunning gold dial bears the Rolex crown at the 12:00 position just below the day window. The dial identifies the watch as "ROLEX | OYSTER PERPETUAL | DAY-DATE | SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER | OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED". The The reference number on the side of the case is 18078 - that on the inside of the case back is is "18000" which is correct. The serial number on the side of the case is is "8879691". The inside of the case back reads: "MONTRES ROLEX SA | GENEVA SWITZERLAND | 18K 750 | 18000". T cal 3055 movement is marked with the following: "ROLEX SA | GENEVA | TWENTYSEVEN 27 JEWELS | ADJUSTED 5 POSITIONS TEMPERATURE | 3505".
