PP-004: 1960's Paul Portinoux Automatic Divers Watch w/ AS 1700/01 Movement
Very cool & very collectible French Made Paul Portinoux Automatic Watch w/ an A. Schild cal 1700/01 Automatic Movement in excellent condition. The redone dial reads "PAUL PORTINOUX | 17 JEWELS | AUTOMATIC". Markings on the back of the case read: "SHOCK RESISTANT | ANTIMAGNETIC | ALL STAINLESS STEEL | 100% WATERPROOF AND CONDENSATION PROOF TESTED TO A DEPTH OF 600 FT" The case back is also marked with the serial number "300500" and name engraving of "STROME". The initials TK with a diamond are also inscribed on the back to identify the French company who made the case. The inside of the case reads T.K. Co. CASE MADE IN FRANCE". The movement is marked to indicate the A. Schilds cal 1700/01 movement. This is a very nice vintage French divers watch, in great condition & ready to wear for another lifetime.
