OR-001: 1960's ORIS STAR DIVERs WATCH - Cal 645 KIF Auto Movement & Brevet Case
This is an Ultra Rare ORIS STAR Diver Watch with a cal 645 KIF automatic movement. These watches are almost impossible to find today. The cal 645 KIF automatic movement is running strong & keeping excellent time. The original dial bears the following markings "ORIS | STAR | AUTOMATIC | 25 JEWELS | SWISS MADE" The crown is signed. The markings on the back of the case read: "ORIS | ANTI-SHOCK | WATERPROOF | ANTI MAGNETIC | STAINLESS STEEL | ORIS WATCH CO." The inside of the case back reads: "SWISS MADE | COMPRESSOR | BREVET | 313813". The inside back of the case is also marked with "4-67" dating the watch to the 4th quarter of 1967. The movement is marked: "ORIS WATCH CO | SWISS | TWENTY FIVE 25 JEWELS | 645 KIF". This is a great watch to add to any serious mid century dive watch collection.
