Highly Collectable C. 1956 Omega British Military RAF Pilots Watch AM 6B / 159 (Ref No 136.011) in very good original condition. The all stainless steel case has a great appearance with no signs of being over polished. The Omega cal 601 manual wind movement is running strong & keeping accurate time within 1 -2 minutes per day. The military dial (which may have been refinished at some point) bears the Omega logo just below the 12:00 position. The dial identifies the watch as OMEGA and bears the British Military RAF insignia. The back of the case is inscribed with: " A.M. | 6B / 159 | 3336 / 56" The inside of the case back is inscribed with: "OMEGA WATCH CO. | FAB. SUISSE | SWISS MADE | CARRURE-LUNETTE PLAQUE OR G 40 MICRONS | FOND ACIER | INOXYDABLE | 136.011".The movement is marked with: "OMEGA WATCH CO. | SWISS | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS | ADJUSTED TWO (2) POSITIONS" and the appropriate markings to identify this as a cal 601 movement. The movement serial number is given as " 22346292". This is a very collectable British Military watch in very good condition.
