Very cool & very rare c. 1961 LIDER PLONGEUR Super Compressor diver automatic watch in good condition housed in a renowned Brevet case. The AS 1700 automatic 25 jewel movement is running strong & keeping excellent time. The original dial is adorned with: "LIDER | 25 RUBIS | PLONGEUR | AUTOMATIC | SWISS MADE". The original crowns bears the expected cross hatch pattern. The back of the stainless steel case bears the LIDER 3 masted ship logo. The inside back of the case reads: "SWISS MADE | SUPER-COMPRESSOR | BREVET + 317537 | BREVET + 337462 | STAINLESS STEEL | 0724/3 | 1-61". Comes with a cloth strap. This is a very cool early 1960's super compressor automatic divers watch in very good condition, keeping accurate time & ready for another lifetime of use.

Condition: Pre-owned: Good Original Condition considering it's 60 + years old. Brevet case shows normal nicks & scuffs consistent with it's age. The dial looks to be REDONE. Crowns with the proper cross hatching are original. Inner ring rotates as it should. AS 1700 automatic movement is keeping accurate time.
