Very cool & very rare 1970's MIDO Ocean Star Super Compressor diver automatic watch in very good original condition housed in a sought after Brevet Depose case. The ETA 2790/1 automatic 17 jewel movement is running strong & keeping accurate time within 1 - 2 minutes per day. The original dial is adorned with: "MIDO | OCEAN STAR | T SWISS MADE T ". The two crowns both look to be original. The outside of the case back bears no markings. The inside back of the stainless steel case reads "MIDO | BREV. DEP." The movement is marked: "17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS" along with the appropriate markings to identify it as an ETA 2790/1 automatic movement. Comes with a newish leather strap. This is a very cool and very rare 1970's super compressor automatic divers watch in very good condition, keeping accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day & ready for another lifetime of use.

Consequently, we do not guarantee that this watch retains its original waterproof rating. ETA 2790/1 automatic movement is keeping accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day.
