Very collectible C. 1950's MIDO MULTIFORT EXTRA Automatic Watch w/ the MIDO 917 R Automatic Movement in good condition. The original dial is in very good condition showing just the right amount of age. The writing on the dial reads: MIDO | MULTIFORT | EXTRA | SUPER-AUTOMATIC| SWITZERLAND". Markings on the back of the case read: "MIDO | MULTIFORT SUPERAUTOMATIC | SWITZERLAND | RUSTLESS STEEL | SHOCK PROTECTED | ANTIMAGNETIC". The inside of the case back reads: "BRIT. PAT. 385509 | MIDO LIMITED | SWITZERLAND | RUSTLESS STEEL | 1555624". The movement is marked with: "SWISS | MIDO | LIMITED | 917 R | 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS UNADJUSTED". The movement was made in house by MIDO. This is a very nice watch in good condition, keeping accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day & ready to wear for another lifetime.
