This is a very rare 1960's LONGINES Flagship Diver Watch in very good original condition with a Longines cal 285 manual wind movement. The original dial bears the following markings : "LONGINES | Flagship | SWISS". The rear of the case is marked with "STAINLESS STEEL". The inside of the case is marked: "LONGINES | FAB SUISSE | SWISS MADE | ACIER INOXYDABLE" and includes the reference number "7982-388". The LONGINES cal 285 - 17 jewel movement is marked: "LONGINES WATCH CO | SWISS | UNADJUSTED | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS" and the correct markings to identify the movement as a LONGINES 285 movement. The movement serial number is also marked as "13891801" This is a very collectable 1960's Diver Watch, in great condition, keeping accurate time and a great addition to any diver watch collection.

Consequently, we do not guarantee that this watch retains its original waterproof rating. It would be best to have a watchmaker check all the gaskets and seals before subjecting it to water or high humidity conditions.

The all stainless steel case is in very good condition - showing minimal signs of over polishing. The crystal does have a crack & should be replaced. The bi-directional bezel rotates freely and securely. The Longines stainless steel bracelet may not be original and does show signs of stretching from use.
