This is a very cool and super rare 1960's Elgin diver watch in excellent original condition. The PUW (Pforzheim Uhren Were) cal 1463 - 25 jewel movement is running strong & keeping accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day. The original dial is in excellent condition and is marked with "ELGIN | 25 JEWELS | AUTOMATIC". The bicolor orange & black rotating bezel with the bakelite insert rotates freely & securely. Both the day and date indicators are in red. The back of the case is marked with "ELGIN | STAINLESS STEEL". The inside of the case is marked: "GRABER | SWITZERLAND | 4156" The movement is marked: "M135 | TWENTYFIVE 25 JEWELS" as well as the appropriated markings to identify this as an PUW cal 1463 movement. The watch keeps accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day and comes with a vintage Tropic Sport rubber band, also in excellent condition.
