DE-001: 1940's Swiss Made Delaware Chronograph - Landeron 248 Movement
This is a truly fabulous - circa 1940's Chronograph Watch in very good condition for an 80 + year old watch with a beautiful original dial. The watch was made by the Britix Watch Co. and retailed under the Delaware name. The Landeron 248 movement is keeping excellent time & all chronograph functions work as they should. The base metal & stainless steel case is in acceptable wearable condition. The watch dial reads: "DELAWARE | 17 JEWELS | CHRONOGRAPH | ANTIMAGNETIC | SWISS". The back of the case reads: "STAINLESS STEEL BACK | 654". The inside back of the case is marked: "BRITIX WATCH CO. | SWISS" The Landeron 248 movement is marked: "BRITIX WATCH CO | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS | SWISS | UNADJUSTED". The movement also bears the appropriate markings to identify it as a Landeron 248 chronograph movement. This nearly 75 year old Chronograph Watch is in exceptional condition & is ready to go for another lifetime.
