BR-003: Bucherer Divers Chronograph w/ Valjoux 7765 Movement - SS Case w/ black PVD Coating
Note: This is essentially the same watch as the Heuer PVD 13/1 which carries a much higher price tag - same case - same movement - just different dials & name stamped onto the case & movement. This all original Bucherer branded watch dates to the 1970's and sports a PVD coated case with a stainless steel back. The PVD coating is in great shape - showing very little wear. The dial is original & in excellent condition. It bears the Bucherer logo as well as the BUCHERER NAME and SWISS MADE at the bottom of the dial. The dial sports the black matte tachymeter outer dial. The screw down case back is stainless steel and bears the following markings: "SWISS MADE | WATER RESISTANT | SHOCK RESISTANT | ANTIMAGNETIC". At the bottom is the case reference number "13/1" indicating it to be the same as the Heuer branded chronograph of the same ilk. There are no markings to the inside of the stainless steel case back. The markings on the Valjoux 7765 movement read as follows: "BUCHERER | 17 JEWELS | UNADJUSTED" The movement is also marked with "7765" identifying it as a Valjoux 7765 movement. This is a very cool retro watch - perfect for those fulfilling their black ops fantasies. The Valjoux 7765 movement is running strong, keeping accurate time & fulfilling all of the requirements of the chronograph functions.
